Nashali is a Bronx native who spent her childhood looking after the many rescued animals her family took in and cared for. Those experiences fueled her passion for animal wellness and advocacy, so she joined her high school’s Animal Care Program, and continued her animal welfare education in college. Nashali is currently working towards a master’s degree in Zoology. In addition to working in the veterinary field for eight years, she continues to do volunteer work for shelters and catch and release programs. In her spare time, Nashali enjoys drawing, traveling, and spending time her two huskies, two cats and a crested gecko.
