Liz Veterinary Assistant

Liz started volunteering at Heart of Chelsea in 2021 and was officially hired in February 2022. She is currently going to school at Ashworth to become a licensed veterinary technician. Liz has an undergraduate degree in dance performance and choreography, but her experience of taking care of her black Lab mix, Stella, who has seizures, drew her to veterinary medicine. She has since fallen in love with the profession and enjoys collaborating with her coworkers, being an educator to pet owners, and helping her sick patients get better. In her free time, Liz can be found hanging out with friends, running, and reading.
