Dr. Monique Desrochers DVM

Dr. Monique Desrochers grew up in Massachusetts and attended Northeastern University in Boston, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology. While completing her degree, she worked as a veterinary technician in private practice before attending the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She returned to New England to complete a rotating internship at Tufts Veterinary Emergency Treatment & Specialties, where she gained experience in emergency and critical care as well as surgery, internal medicine, and several specialty services. 

Dr. Desrochers enjoys the variety and challenge of veterinary medicine and is particularly interested in dermatology and chronic disease management. She is looking forward to joining the Greenpoint team and continuing to grow as a veterinarian. She especially values building relationships with her patients and their families. 

Outside of work, she enjoys living in New York City with her fiancé, traveling, running, cooking, and playing video games. She is especially excited to explore the city’s many restaurants and find new favorite spots.
