Dr. Mindy Chen DVM - USDA Accredited

Dr. Chen is a native New Yorker born and raised in lower Manhattan. While she has always had a love for companion animals and the sciences growing up, it was only after a career in marketing that she decided to make the switch into veterinary medicine. The pivotal moment was when she brought her own family dogs (two Pomeranians!) to the vet as they were aging and required more medical attention in their later years. She was inspired by the care and compassion that her dogs received and wanted to become a vet to reciprocate the love that her pets gave to her.

 

She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago, post-baccalaureate degree from Hunter College, and veterinary degree from Cornell University. When she is not busy taking care of her furry patients, she likes to travel, exercise, and spend time with her Shiba Inu, Teddy.
