Dr. Marc Siebert founded Heart of Chelsea in 1999 to create a neighborhood veterinary practice defined by exceptional medical standards.
With a down-to-earth manner, he has built strong, lasting trust with clients and their pets. He earned his degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and is a certified veterinary acupuncturist. Dr. Siebert set the core principles that continue to guide Heart of Chelsea’s culture, placing excellence at the heart of the practice. He supports ongoing learning for his team and is actively involved in mentoring doctors, leaders, and team members across the organization. Throughout his career, he has created opportunities for doctors to grow into practice ownership, supporting the expansion of Heart of Chelsea hospitals in the West Village, Brooklyn, and Seattle. Outside the hospital, he spends time weightlifting and practicing meditation. He shares his life with his husband of more than 36 years, and their home is filled with a menagerie of pets.
