Dr. Laura Harrington DVM

Dr. Laura Harrington grew up in Dublin, Ireland, where her love of animals started early. As a child, she made it her mission to befriend every stray cat and fox in the neighborhood. The many scratches and bites never deterred her dream of becoming a veterinarian.

Dr. Harrington went on to complete her degree in Veterinary Medicine at University College Dublin. After graduating, she spent the first few years of her career working in several busy emergency and general practice clinics throughout Dublin.

She then relocated to Hawaii, where she has spent the past three years practicing small animal medicine on Oahu. During this time, Dr. Harrington also worked with the Hawaiian Humane Society outreach programs, which focused on reducing community cat populations through spay and neuter initiatives.
Now relocating to New York to be closer to family, Dr. Harrington is excited to put down roots in the city. Her areas of interest include feline medicine, diagnostic imaging, and emergency medicine.
Outside of work, she loves traveling and has visited more than 30 countries with her wife. When she’s not exploring somewhere new, she enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her very special one-eyed cat, Bell.
