Dr. Deluty grew up abroad in Singapore and fell in love with animals and environmental conservation at the Singapore Zoo. Frequent visits to the zoo inspired Dr. Deluty to pursue a profession that would allow them to honor the human animal bond and promote public health. They began this journey by studying chemistry and neuroscience at Carnegie Mellon University, where they graduated with dual bachelor’s degrees. They then moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, and earned their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University. After graduation, Dr. Deluty stayed in Denver working in small animal primary and urgent care as an associate veterinarian and then as a clinic medical director. Dr. Deluty is especially passionate about surgery, dentistry, feline medicine, and zoological companion animal medicine. They cherish the time they can spend building partnerships with their clients and working with families as a team to help pets achieve their best health and quality of life.
Dr. Deluty has a black Labrador mix, Spike, and three cats: Lady Guinevere My True Love, Space Potato, and Moose. In their free time, Dr. Deluty enjoys spending time with their animals, tending to their extensive houseplant collection, dancing, and crafting.
