Dr. Ashley Wang DVM

Dr. Wang grew up right outside of the city in Long Island, New York. Her love for animals started when she began volunteering at the animal shelter at 15, and she quickly knew she wanted to become a veterinarian. She went on to get her BS in animal science at the University of California, Davis where her summers consisted of working in various animal hospitals and providing free pet healthcare for underserved communities. She then spent 4 years in sunny Arizona where she got her veterinary degree from Midwestern University. Her professional interests include internal medicine as well as soft tissue surgery, but her favorite part of veterinary medicine is being able to provide care to your pets while also being able to establish a relationship with pet owners. She is excited to come back to NYC and join the talented team at Heart of Chelsea. 

Outside of veterinary medicine, you can find her spending time with her dog Louis, exploring the city with friends, finding her next favorite restaurant, and traveling the world.
