Dr. Alexa Brown DVM

Dr. Alexa Brown grew up on Long Island, New York, where her love of animals began while growing up with three standard poodles. She earned her undergraduate degree from Binghamton University before attending Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2025. 

Following veterinary school, Dr. Brown completed a small animal rotating internship in Brooklyn, where she gained extensive experience managing a wide range of medical and surgical cases. Prior to veterinary school, she has worked in both emergency medicine and general practice, developing a thoughtful and well-rounded approach to patient care.  

Dr. Brown is passionate about providing thorough, compassionate care and believes that maintaining and improving each animal’s quality of life is at the heart of veterinary medicine. She enjoys building lasting relationships with pets and their families, taking the time to ensure owners feel informed, supported, and confident in the care of their companions. 

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Brown enjoys baking and spending time with family and friends as well as her 3 doodle mixes. She looks forward to partnering with families to help their pets live long, healthy, and fulfilling lives.
