Jenna Goldhaber

Dr. Jenna Goldhaber was born and raised in Long Island, NY, where she cultivated her passion for animals, science and the arts. She completed her undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis, where she studied Spanish, creative writing and biology. She briefly considered pursuing a career in journalism, but is grateful she fulfilled her fifth grade yearbook’s stated career goal to become a veterinarian.

Dr. Goldhaber earned her DVM degree from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, where she focused her training on companion animal medicine. Her interest in general medicine and surgery, client education, and the human-animal bond led her to a career in private practice soon after graduation. Dr. Goldhaber worked in small animal practices in Staten Island and Rockland County, NY, prior to joining Heart of Chelsea Veterinary Group.

She loves the problem-solving aspect of complex internal medicine cases and the continual learning opportunities that each new day in clinical practice provides. She has a soft spot for senior pets and plans to pursue further training in canine rehabilitation and acupuncture. Outside the office, she can be found taking dance classes, playing piano, exploring parks and trying all the delicious cuisine NYC has to offer.
