Marcia Hamilton
Marcia has been the voice and face of Heart of Chelsea Animal Hospital since we opened our doors in 1999. A magna-cum-laude graduate of Brandeis University, Marcia pursued a career in the entertainment industry until she fell under the spell of her rescued puppy, Jasper (who we'll always remember), and changed careers. In addition to front desk duties, Marcia is responsible for all office correspondence, customer special orders and coordinating our Puppy Play Group. If you ask to see photos of her newly rescued puppy, Strider, and his precocious partner Schatze, a sassy shepherd beauty queen, Marcia just might be persuaded to oblige.
Tammy Ramsey
Tammy received her Bachelor's Degree in Pre-Veterinary Science from the University of Massachusetts. She cultivated years of experience working as a research technician at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She also volunteered at the MSPCA and RSPCA in Barbados. Although she doesn't currently have any pets of her own, she loves working with animals of all kinds. Tammy aspires to complete the necessary coursework and testing to become a Veterinary Technician in the near future. She loves to read, knit, crochet, go to the movies and watch Animal Planet!
